Weekly Positives:
+Had a decent trade plan on XNET.
+Avoid potential mistakes by doing my due diligence before taking positions.
Still no trades made, but this week it was less opportunity than last week. Especially for overnight longs, which I mainly look for. Was going to buy the ABCD on XNET at 13.90-ish Thursday, but missed my entry due to a silly mistake when I was choosing another route than the "smart"-route. Should have thought of this when I was waiting for my entry.
Goal on XNET was to hold overnight if it closed strong, and sell around 15.00, 15.40 & 16.45 if the chart allowed for it. However I'm sure I wouldn't have been able to do so, because my plan was not clear enough. Would probably have sold in the 14.15's after holding for 30 min Thursday, when it made a lower low. If I had made a more clear plan on when to sell & hold, I would not cut the position there because I was looking for a bigger picture move. Obviously easy to see hindsight, but when I have several day-trades left, I definitely could have planned to lock some shares into the first pop, to stay more patient. It obviously had a solid pullback into the close, but it gapped up, like i thought it would initially. This proves the smartness of locking some safe shares early on, and holding overnight as long as it closes above Vwap.
The positive to take away from XNET was that recognized a good play in real time, and tried taking a position at the right point. Also had a good idea of how it was going to play out.
Weekly P/L: $0.
