@Jackaroo Clearly this was about 3-31/2 yrs ago. Looks to me like a little confidence of someone believing in you can make all the difference in the world. Congrats on your success Jack! I truly believe we all have it in us & it just takes hard work & 1 person believing in you & believing in yourself. Your uncle is a great man.

@Jackaroo, I am a few years too late on reading the "blog post: Stick With It". However, it was very inspiring. What was inspiring was not the story in and of itself, but the idea that you choose to "believe" that sticking with something will reap a reward for you in the end. Thank you! Glad you liked it. What was your thought after SPI went supernova? Did you fight the urge to overtrade or did you watch it and waited for the madness to fizzle out?

I would not recommend buying back in if angry, revenge trading always turns sour for me. If you see an intelligent buy in with confirmation then by all means, but with no anger. That is the worst one can do to lose even more money.

Right, because that lesser high isn’t the high of the chart at that time, just extra resistance which can later be support if it does breakout

Yes, a followup breakout needs to break high of day to technically be considered a breakout. I like to call those little mini breakouts you are referencing as 'consolidation breakouts.' They can be a great gauge for predicting high of day breakouts.
