I'm just going to blog this day, just so that when I am hugely successful I will never forget what actually happened to me.
Today, as I was looking through my accounts, I noticed that I was positive 18.00.......and I was like...how can that be??? I have no positions. Or so I thought. After digging through my order history, I find that I have 100 shares of MRNS, I'm just floored!!! This can't be! SO I finally find that my entry was at 3.9935, which was close to days highs 2 days ago, when I had traded it twice for some profits.
I quickly cut that position, and I was lucky that it was having a bounce day, had gone R/G and was almost at days highs when I sold it at 3.36. Took a big loss for my small account, I'm not sure I've ever had a 15.7% loss. I was striving for that on the winning side, not the loosing side.
So, after walking away from the markets, I was very upset, the only thing I can figure out that happened was that I must have placed that trade in my sleep. ????? Sounds far fetched, but each order was entered as an individual trade on my order history, therefor I could not have placed a 200 sh order instead of the 100 sh trade that I had made prior that day. ??? It's all so crazy!! I remember having made the first two trades, had those all logged and everything. Then I was on Lento's webinar, and I remember shaking myself awake, and thinking, oh shoot, I dozed off. I would have had 100shares entered into the order box, and I likely had 4.03 in there as well, which is where I had sold my last trade at. E-trade likely gave me a better fill, as 4.03 was likely higher than it was trading at that time...........all I can say is, it's money, I will gain it back, and I will not let this stop me, if 63 bucks is all I loose in trading I'd be completely happy. But I am going to start checking if I have any positions in all my accounts every day at day close...and through out as well. I maybe paranoid now.
It’s alright, just gotta shake it off and keep going
@TriumphantTrades Thanks for the encouragement, I will continue going :)
