@Learningtotrade Failed to spike and really breakout today and then faded all day on lower volume. If it can hold $0.15 then maybe worth a buy but if it cracks, it's going down quick. No catalyst here

@novice Awesome! I'm a little disappointed I took small gains there but it was just moving way too slow for me.

@HebrewHammer It turns out that you were right to move on to greener pastures. When a stock jogs in place too long I start thinking is it consolidating or is it out of buyers. You never want to be the last one to find the exit. Having said that I still think it goes higher. There are just to many beaten down energy plays going up 100 to 200 percent intra day to justify tying up a significant portion of my small account feeding and watering a turtle.

On Etrade they will lock your account for 90 days if you sell before the funds have settled

To avoid this you need about 2,500. I use 1000 to trade on Monday then 1500 the next day (Tuesday). Then by Friday or Thursday my first 1000 is settled. PDT rule only allows you to trade up to three times per week so that works for me. I think Monday and Friday are great trading days (for me) so thats why they are in my setup

quick question. If the volume of the day is 280 millon does that mean that 280 million shares were bout and sold, (so only 140 million traded) or does it mean 280 million shares traded. Also can you go above the float. Say people buy and sell in total more than a billion shares. Can you then technically have a volume about the shares outstanding? Also if you can have a volume above the amount of shares outstand then what is considered a volume spike, twice the float traded a day, 3, 4 times??

This is reassuring to read. Went against a rule of mine and chased this stock and got in at .0074. I'm on the same page. Looking for a nice morning spike and am looking to get out if this gets down around .0060.

Can i get your take on GSS currently? I think this can run to .55 tomorrow but im so new to this i dont know if i can trust my own opinion by itself. Got in at .49 and would like to exit at .55

Also small catalyst from Zacks saying buy this stock so im hoping that sticks and we see some more buyers. Gold is good still IMO so it is safe to say .55 is a good exit target?

I have the same plan of action with TGD I want to get in closer to .21 and if that oppertunity presents itself tomorrow im sure i will be in as well. Ill most liley hold all wekk as long as gold keeps this uptrending movement.

TGD - I'm buying 1,000 shares tomorrow as I have done my research and it has a good balance sheet, like all miners they have lost money due to the drop in gold but the fact is that they still have cash on hand. Liabilities down by 50,000, but have to keep in mind that this is all unaudited info. I still feel it is a good buy
