Very nice trade! In terms of highest volume at breakout, that negating the fact that some volume bars at the open had even higher volume, right? Usually the morning bars have tremendous volume and breakouts later in the day have high volume spike (but not quite as high as some of the mornig bars).
thank you. I will have to look back at my saved charts to take note of what the volume bars looked like in the morning in comparison to the HOD break volume bar. I mainly look to see if the volume spike is stronger as it pushes towards the HOD and at the HOD break.
Gotcha!

I like dip buying I'm hopeless at buying breakouts. I trade the first 30 minutes of the day and try to buy the first or second dip on the 1 minute chart.
Thanks for Sharing this. How do you identify the candle for dip buying? You are looking one day before and then decide or how?
@Henry263 I look at multiple time frames like 1, 5, 30 days and 1 year. But I focus more on intraday pre-mkt support and resistance after I've aligned it with other time frames. If you look at my last trade post on $IMMU, it was at all-times so I had no daily chart to align it with so I use the pre-mkt chart to find support and resistance and bought the first dip and 2nd break at the open.

Crossed $10k total profits yesterday! It's been surreal after constantly being humbled by the market during my first 9.5 months of trading. After making major adjustments to my strategy in mid-November, I'm now working on my 18th consecutive green week. I must say, it feels good to have data that shows I'm not just getting lucky at this point. I've traded far from perfectly these past 4 months though - I'm still learning important lessons every week, and I'll never stop trying to improve. Next challenge: sizing up (slowly).
Shit, sorry, there's a max char limit per comment.
Thanks for sharing all this, YangLuo.

Hey there, yes I am, but I had a big loss near the beginning of the month so took a week off to regroup and revamp my strategy. Now taking things slow. Was planning to write a blog post so I need to get on that.
