Always remember how special this community is. It's beyond what you think. Don't take it for granted. Tim and the boys don't owe you anything. 

I'm diving into 2023 very cautiously.  My theme of '22 has been "keep your head down and just work to build capital." My profit chart reflects that.

This year has fucked us all really hard. From a fake, incompetent leader/administration on capitol hill to our own very selfish ways of life. You still feel it at the pump, at the grocer and in your nutts. You feel it everywhere. 

 

That's what the fuck happens when you try to eat your cake before your vegetables. ;)

 

No matter what market conditions are, there are lessons to be learned and profits to be made. She's just like the ocean, guys. You'll never control her. Oh yea, and she'll swallow you the first chance she gets.

Technical strategies:

I'm going for growth and projections. Have we reached market bottom? Fuck if I know but we all have work to do. It's your job to find what's on sale and what works for you.

Catching and trading morning runners will always be a thing. I'm not worried about that going away. The main challenge with that is entry, position sizing and exit (whenever that may be lol). And it won't always work. That's the hardest part. If it doesn't look good or if it doesn't feel right. Back out! You can't force anything. You can't....

I hunt for stocks that have growth/good EP potential.  I love easy swing plays involving something on a low RSI with a high consensus analyst target. Are analysts always right? Fuck no! Doesn't even have to have a low RSI. I'll just slip in with a "starter" and average my position from there (should the downward trend continue). 

As always, I don't buy the story. Don't buy stupid stocks that don't make money. Cash burn, debt, assets and REVENUES must not be ignored. 

You might think, "Oh, ok. So just buy and hold forever."   NO

What if you're waiting for a day that never comes? Did you do the research? Are you keeping up with the news? Stocks can reverse direction drastically at any given moment. The whole "set it and forget it" mentality won't save you either. 

 

Lastly and most importantly....you cannot hide from time.
