I mentioned that in my TAOP trade, because so many people made so much money that day, made my $40 look like pocket change, even though it was a 40+% winner. I'm in the same boat with a micro account and feel your pain. I totally agree that it feels I'm learning which is great but not feeling like I'm seeing results is hard. I've started looking at % gains and losses instead of $ gains and losses which has helped there. Stay with it and you can grow that account!

For months when I started I was trading so stupid. My whole strategy was ridiculous. But one thing that I found was that even though my account size wasn't small, the fees were eating me up. I was basically scalping, and even despite the fact that my winning ratio was probably terrible, the fees ate up a significant part of my profit. (Probably would have been better to start out in a free brokerage, but I'm short biased). I guess what I'm saying is that even with size, it can help to find

(sorry didn't know my comment would cut off, let me try to remember what I said)--It helped me to find big picture moves because I only had to capture the meat of the move, and I didn't need to worry about slippage as much if my trade was stopped out. I don't know if that's helpful for you or not, because I don't know what your strategy is. I eventually had to scrap my whole strategy and start over, but now I feel like it's finally working for me. @Lyoness Thanks for the feedback. Sometimes just knowing you're not alone in the trading world is plenty of help. I had to learn that commissions lesson early trying to trade OTC. I'm commission free on TDA for most trades, but I have to reaally consider the risk/reward if I'm going to pay a $14 cover charge for every trade. Plus I'm learning to use share size buys that fit my balance so that's helping too. Anyway, thanks again! Continued success to you too.

I'm a newbie to the program here. I have to adapt to the "just get the meat of the trade" mentality vs trying to predict absolute lows and highs. This has been one of the major eye openers as I start this journey. Stay strong and let's collectively try not to re-invent the wheel.

I have tried on and off for maybe 10 years. Some successes but the pot craze tore me up and I needed a new direction. I am spending quite a bit of time with the initial DVDs in the SuperNova series. Lots to focus on but when I get my hooks into something; I’ll be all in. Once I get my trading accounts over to Etrade, I’ll post a beginning balance and try to get my trades posted. Playing with stock screeners to give me some stocks and patterns to study

I still have (thankfully) a small amount of shares and because of my work schedule I missed my opportunity to sell them this morning. I'm hoping for a small bounce in the morning to lesson my loss but now I don't know what is going to happen as it shows as a 100% loss

I wish you the best with this man. They probably just converted your shares to same amount of AIKI, but don't quote me. I'm not sure how that process goes yet.
