I wanted to get into HTGM when it broke the day high but I never know how overnights go. I have no advice other than I wanted to make the same move.

In experience holding overnight..is very risky. Because if a stock goes against you...you cant always just get out!! Because the volume may not be there. And if there is some volume....Whoever you broker with..may not be able to execute trades afterhours, overnight, or premarket. Some brokers just dont have the juice to execute trades efficiently at these times...So in most cases I've been stuck all night, into the next morning, all premarket till the market opens then Im able to get out...after

So don't hold overnight unless youre very sure about the trade! Def have to have a stacked win/loss ratio...in your favor at least 5:1 even 10:1

@phil75 Phil, if you are taking an o/n trade you have to keep an eye on it. The volume is much lower so you don't necessarily have to cut it if it is weak, but if there is meaningful news after hours you must be aware. It looks like your position is still in good shape, but I would hope your risk is in the 3.55 area (previous support), and fortunately that did not get tested.
