Thanks Palmer...had CLNE tagged but @ that open i shied away...with such a small account i can't chance these even for 10% moves bc commissions eat up any gain.

Yeah, small accounts can be tough per those commissions...you'll get there...

Wow...$CLNE at almost $3.50 per share this morning. I'll 'learn' to hold over the weekend at some point...

You can trade after hours and pre-market unless there's some kind of funky restriction on your account. The only stocks they don't allow you to trade are OTC or BB stocks. If it trades on any of the major exchanges you can trade it. It just cost more to do so. What I dont like about E-Trade is no stop loss, trailing stops or stop limit orders After hours or Pre-Market.

these strategies mainly work on good stocks. CVEO is up on nothing but technicals.

@ramster2k16 I guess we'll see what happens when the market opens. Reuters suggests buying this stock and S&P suggests holding it. Anyway, if it does not come back above 1.85 at the market open, I will get out with a loss.

@ramster2k16 CVEO hs been climbing. Hit 2.00 today. Sometimes tecchnicals are good indications

What I've learned is that no matter what your strategy is, if you don't feel 100% about entering a position then don't. I would say 90% of the time I'm glad I didn't because the stock tanked soon after I was thinking about entering. The other 10% of the time I would have banked if I entered like SYNC today. Plus I think scalping gets your feet wet a little, so there's nothing wrong with it as long as you don't make it a habit

Great strategy. You will miss out on some moves but you will not be down 35% before you get up in the morning. I am going to start scalping personally. I have literally watched 15-20% gains morph into 10-15% loss waiting on a 50%+ move. I need to focus more on singles instead of homeruns. Hang in there.

@Palmer Are you familiar with TOS mobile platform? I just installed it on my ipad and was wondering about Level 2 can't locate it in the mobile app. Is it not included?

I know it is on my Android. When you click a ticker in your watch list and see the 'level 1 screen' press the small 3 dot icon in the lower right of the screen and select show ### details. You will see Chart News Options and Depth. Select Depth and there is your level 2. I want to say that L2 is on the ipad ap also but it has been a while since I've used the ipad ap...

I would be selling some into the resistance if it doesn't pop I would bail out since you got in so high and it is a mulitday move. Watch $DRYS and $PRGN to see if they are moving premarket if so you might be good if not I would prepare to cut losses. Would be nice to see it gap up

You gotta get more disciplined before you keep trading with size like this man.

I bought 800 shares at a 1.24 looking for a small gap up monday morning. I am not sure what it will do but I might chicken out and sell as quick as I can. But it is only 800 shares and I do not have any day trades until Tuesday so I might hold on for a bit.

I bought it @1.44 and sold @1.25 but it fell so fast I was so scared it went down to 1 so I cut loss right away

@novice Yep, I did it 1,000 shares $ORIG at 2.25 you should probably short

Rollingball Apr 27, 16 2:17 PM

@novice man, that sucks. How can you tell if you have used all of your day trades? Do you have to just write them down and keep a count?

@Rollingball scroll over to Accounts and in the drop down menu click on Balances and it will show how many you have left

@novice You were right on this one. I should have held over night and sold this morning. Oh well. I will be traveling today so I knew I would not be able to sit and watch anything which is part of why I sold yesterday.

@alpharaptor that video shows how I build my watch list and what I'm looking for. I'm always weighing my risk vs reward and analyze all the technical data I can to come up with me thesis. Hope this helps and if you need anything else feel free to ask anytime. I'm happy to help

Keep up the great work! Your short position in $RPRX forced me to take a profit in my long position. Did not want to be on the opposite side of you too long. Because that appears to be a losing proposition long term.
