I am attempting an afternoon "dip buy" on CVEO. It is currently at 1.89 had a high of around 2.15 and has shown support right around 1.89-1.90 all day. I think it may have a small run in the power hour with a possible EOD short squeeze.
My goal is to make .15-.20 per share and get out if it dips below 1.85
You can trade after hours and pre-market unless there's some kind of funky restriction on your account. The only stocks they don't allow you to trade are OTC or BB stocks. If it trades on any of the major exchanges you can trade it. It just cost more to do so. What I dont like about E-Trade is no stop loss, trailing stops or stop limit orders After hours or Pre-Market.
these strategies mainly work on good stocks. CVEO is up on nothing but technicals.
@ramster2k16 I guess we'll see what happens when the market opens. Reuters suggests buying this stock and S&P suggests holding it. Anyway, if it does not come back above 1.85 at the market open, I will get out with a loss.
@ramster2k16 CVEO hs been climbing. Hit 2.00 today. Sometimes tecchnicals are good indications
