Mainly looked for trades that could have enough volume today, but it was hard finding anything with a nice pattern over 25K in volume, so I played with what I could find and checked the % gainers through the day for stocks under $10, but there were only a few.  There were a few parabolic patterns I noticed the night prior while doing my homework, but could not find one worth anticipating a washout or short on this morning.  Up $10 on the day, haha!
