Data for NASDAQ Stocks that Close Strong
Feel free to check out the spreadsheet. for the last 3 days I have been running a screener at the end of the day to find stocks that close strong so that I can analyse their behavior on the previous day. For this screener I am looking at stocks that are up at least 10% Open to Close for the day (Not from the previous day's close), and also close within 5% of their daily high for that day.
I will keep updating it for a few weeks to confirm the trends, but just in this small sample it is pretty obvious that the best time to sell is in the first 30 minutes of the day.
