[TimAlerts] $WTW spiking with volume

@ProperGotham Hey, just wondering what part of Canada you're from? I'm from Winnipeg. Also wondering what broker you're using? Thanks!
Good job! I'd recommend using the same amount of money paper trading you'd use with real money. Helps make it more real, and then you also can see if you're making good trades with enough profit etc.
Just practice on taking profits early even when you're 100% certain that it will go higher, or lower if your shorting. Work on that in paper trading and it will help with real trading
When I paper trade I try to trade with a realistic amount. I trade with 1000 or a little under. I mean obviously it sucks to take profits early and see like a 20 dollar gain on a 1000 investment but as Tim has trained us, sometimes that's best case scenario and will eventually grow a small account.
Thanks guys I'm going to try this tomorrow in my paper trading account. I have been studying a lot more intensely lately! I'm showing good improvement!

@osirustwits which Canadian broker do you use? Do they have good shorts? Thanks
I use CIBC but I have a very large TFSA so I get the level of service most can't and I can buy enough that my extra fee to do so is not an issue. I only post my TFSA moves because anything on my margin is me making a phone call to open. I do also use suretrader something I just started using when I discovered Tim Sykes. Starting next week I will posting all my trades through suretrader as I ti will let me verify here.
Ok thanks. Ive been using Suretrader since I started with Tim earlier this year. I didn't know at the time Canadians were exempt from the PDT rule. I am not overly impressed with Suretrader. Their service goes down a lot, leaving people stuck in trades with no recourse. Poor customer service. Seems like decent shorts, but I have nothing to compare to.

@KylanHodson Ok thanks again.
@StockTicker77 what was the fees? that is really excessive
@dsla10 I haven't logged into iBoss to see all the details yet. But they have ECN fees etc. All my trades with them have had extra fees. And I did hear that before I started, just didn't realize how much it adds up to with a small account.
does anybody have any updates on this? I am a new student and am finalizing my accoutn with virtualbrokers. Sadly my account is only about 1k canadian for now. I want to short sell but I do not have enough capital yet. So far I have been using tradingview.com for my chart analysis, stock fetcher for my scans and stockpro on my phone with potentially interactive brokers for my brokerage

I've used Suretrader. They are decent for shorts. But hidden fees, adds up. Poor executions, and their platform goes down frequently, which can leave you stuck in a trade with no way out. Has happened to me a few times, so decided I had enough. Now with Virtual Brokers. Low commissions, which is nice for a small account, but you want a good broker for shorts and executions. Executions seem pretty decent, but it looks like they don't have a lot of borrows(shorts). So far that's my only co
Guess I hit limit lol. So far that's my only complaint with Virtual Brokers. But I haven't been with them that long. I am using their web based app as their platforms carry decent fees each month, and I"m using Stocks to Trade.
