SureTrader is what I'm using currently. You only get 7 days but you can just use numerous email addresses to renew it. I like it thus far.

For Think or Swim, I did hear from a friend if you ask really nicely they will give you more time pass the 60 days and I'm glad to see a other Canadian on this site... What part of the country are you in?

It's fine for new starters with small amounts. Decent mobile app no account minimum. Low commission fees. Platform is very easy to comprehend. One problem is finding shares to short. They can be very bad with their shortables.

Can canadians use optionshouse as a broker? when looking at their application for setting up an account it only gives canada as an option for citizenship but not country of residence @Tunde1306

@dredden8 I'm actually not sure. Maybe you should contact them via their online chat support to ask a question. They are usually good about customer service.

@AlecRae How do you like Questrades platform and quotes? Easy to navigate and use or is there anything you have noticed? and have you tried their mobile trading?
