Yesterday I saw this stock, I was a little skeptical honestly, just because my status quo is trading nasdaq stocks, and not typically OTC just because i use suretrader. Anyways, i shorted them before close anticipating a gap down. You know you gotta expect the unexpected, it actually didn't gap down, My position was at 3.14(could probably improve my entry) at 500 shares(didn't wanna use leverage overnight).
Because i have balls of iron, I held on through the rise.
No, not because i had balls of iron, you never trade off your intuition. I don't at least. Of course my heart was sanken looking at how negative I was. I should just do what gritani does and hide my P&L column. I could never do that though because to me, the more data i have the better.
I held on after the spike ONLY because i paid attention to indicators, the previous HOD was around 3.4, and even though it passed that it was only slightly(3.44) and I saw a sell signal in my CCI box. Basically, what i'm saying is, this could have been a losing trade. I could have cut my losses and called it a day.
Alright, here is the meat. It started collapsing, and i got out at 2.71. You guys are like, seriously, you got out halfway through the collapse? I sure did and I am thankful for it. In my own opinion, you have to have the same discipline with your gains as you do with losses. I have had trades where I was up 10%, but wanted 20%, and those stocks flipped and went bullish on me and I lose my gains. The real question is, how do you know how much it will fall? Until i can formulate something to gauge when a stock will stop falling, I cut out around 10%.I'm all about capitalizing and improving.
so... you're damn right I'll take 10% all day.

How is it that your winning over 78 % of the time but your down 400 $
Well 2 weeks ago I was celebrating my first 1k in profits. I was 1500 in the green. Then 1 trade wiped me out. That's how it goes when you don't cut losses quickly, that is my greatest weakness. That 20% of losses doesn't mean anything if it always wipes you out. I'm actually up 395 today before fees so when I upload tomorrow I'll be close to break even again.
@King_of_Spades Ah, I see... Well now you probally wont make that mistake again, anyways good luck!
I was, and I left sooooo much $ on the table :-( http://profit.ly/1MsrmI
