Also, what do I if I'm stuck in a stock, meaning I brought it when I thought it would keep rising, but it crashed and I didn't cut losses I still hold the stock with big negative numbers. I don't want to lose so I won't sell, or should I?
@RC0002653 yep, HMNY, TRXC are good examples of those, but for those I like to play the 2nd day and not the first. The first is a gamble unless the chart is REALLY smooth. OPTT was really smooth
How do you choose which stocks to play? Or do you just choose any with a good bounce pattern?
@RC0002653 Nah, i do a ton of research premarket and after trading hours. I usually don't trade most hyped out call outs..i have my own strategy that works..stick with a plan that works for you! I don't always day trade either. I do a lot of swings and hold longer positions like 2-4 days

WPCS is alright, it'll get back up there soon, keep watching this stock it's has the potential to run likeHMNY
Unfortunate, but don't let this loss set you back. It's crazy how easy it seems to buy the tops at times, as I've done it myself too. Cutting losses quickly is key, so good on that, although those fast drops after the breakout fails are killer. I've recently been in trades where in a matter of seconds the stock drops like 10c-20c, and it just blows through your risk level, but it happens.

@kazimi Hey man, why don't you upload your gains on profitly, I'm sure many of us would like to see how far you have gone in terms of profits.

@Skiwi Have you quit trading?
did it send my reply? test
I haven't quit trading just stopped posting here,I moved to a different niche with higher priced stocks. In fact I took a vacation for the entirety of January from work so I could focus on full time trading for a month, hopefully within two years or so I'll be full time trading. But I see the light far away! though profits and loses are still insignificant, 50$ win here 50$ lose there.
There's a facebook group made by one of the profitly traders, they have a group chat that gives out real time alerts, you can join if you like it really help me and many others. https://www.facebook.com/groups/smartrader101/
The guy who made it often post vids on youtube as well, he quite good, and his advice is sound

Sorry, here's a link to the spreadsheet where you can edit the spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LEDtcjJjUC1xBk4JzliVlWbJtoPuGbzyHj6ranZReF8/edit?usp=sharing
How do you input data into the Studio setup? Also, do you input the data into the trading log by yourself or is it automatically done? I noticed that LongGearing got you the most gains, but what does it mean/
In Data Studio you have to connect to a data source, like databases, Google Analysis, Excel, or Googe Spreadsheet that I use. When opening a new Data Studio project, that's the first step. If you use the template, you go to resources and "administrate data source". It will do the import for you. I add the data myself, but have categories/drop downs to choose long/short, and there are calculations, so only really need to add ticker, # shares, in and out price. Long gearing is just this gearing/ab
Long gearing 1 is just abcd type gearing action/triangle/wedge in the morning, and 2 and 3 the midday and afternoon. They go by different names - the no2 is basically what Dux is talking about here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_js7yhvPdWA

Great job cutting losses quickly! I've learned not to trade p/m unless I can sell p/m. For the same reasons you say above.
hey there, i got squeezed out of a short position on FRTA and didnt get back in at the $6.50 retest because i felt horrible after that squeeze, and man did it suck watching the stock plummet (shorted at $4.39, overlooked a bull flag formation at 9:40 a.m.). we can only learn and grow from our experiences, so good job on your watch list predictions and good luck with using your knowledge to become successful.
I think you're over thinking things, what is your watchlist on Monday?
@RC0002653 none, I am on vacation next week :D
