Trades from last weeks watchlist -

1. GBX - Went exactly as planed although i got out a lttle early but was up over 15

 

This weeks Earnings watch list -

• KBH (1-11 after hours) this stock is under valued compared to its peers and has a 20% short (6 days) which gives it some good ability to spike. I also like how the housing market has been going up and interest rates may actually help push buyers to get in now. The interest rate is a double edge sword in that it could lead to a light guidance but i think the way consumer sentiment is going and a possible stack of new orders this may be able to over come this.

 

• SVU (1-11 Pre market) Low P/E at only 8.23 and the sale of save a lot might help push this stock higher and bring in some buys from investors who are trying to find the bottom. There will be a nice reduction of debet which will possible add a bright note to the conference call and guidance. (note - This is not a play i think i will make but i just see some potential to crush)

 

• BAC (1-13 pre market) Below sector valuation with the market hanging in the balance and bank stocks looking to take this sector back to levels seen 10 years ago. Interest rates on the rise mean better earnings for bank and with most economic indicators in their favor banks stocks are looking to reaffirm this market rally. If bank stocks beat and guide heavy the market is going to bang and i see BAC coming out a huge winner but the risk of any down news could be really bad and this is where i take credence in the fact that greed is the staple of banks and there not going to mess this rally up so ill bet they put out some good numbers.

• FHN (1-13 pre market) in the same make or break zone for the market this stock is a little less known and a little bit higher in shorts which can always add some fuel to the fire and i really don't think it needs to put up the same numbers as its peers i just see it getting a boost from the over all market

I'm going to add a couple different stocks that i will most likely not be trading but may be of interest to other investors (i've looked into them but do your own research)
