HAMMERTIME! First trade today and I made roughly $80 after fees. I bought 500 shares of $FORD at $1.60 and sold at $1.80. I called this perfectly in my watch list last night! I'll be verifying my trade this evening. Also glad that @Verg1 took my advice and made .30/share for a nice $60 gain! Glad that I can help Verg! After all, that is what this website is for right?! Traders helping traders?? The market had it’s best day in 4 years after the worst drops we’ve seen in that same time. Nice little recovery but lets see where the end of the week takes us. Still following Tim’s rules by staying 100% cash and by sticking to a plan. Be careful in this market and study as much as you can while you can. NETE – Volume is fading and hasn’t been able to hold its gains. Crickets today so I won’t be watching this too often yet I’ll keep on my watch list.

 

ACI – Another good day for ACI. At this point this stock is too expensive for my small account. I’m really trying to focus on stocks under $2-3. I’ll look for a possible short on it’s first red day.  

 

MCUR – Now down over a $1/share from buy short alert over the weekend. I called this spot on however I’ve been busy with work and $FORD the last few days. Still a good short as it can drop another $1/share.

 

BTU- There was lot’s of support around $1.65/share over the past 2 days. This had a nice morning spike and dip and held support until noon central time where it popped up to $1.80 and then dropped .30/share in about 10 minutes. This is too choppy for me so I’ll be taking it off my radar.

 

NUGN- Holding nicely in the $2/share range. This is still on my short watch list everyday. Only a matter of time before it’s at 0.  

 

YOD- I sold my small long-term position this morning to use a more buying capital for my $FORD trade today. I’m done watching paint dry with this stock. I’ll get back in when the volume picks up and the Xiaomi news comes out.

 

GALE – Dropped out of the gate and couldn’t recover all day. Volume is weak so I’ll take this off my radar as well.  

 

AVRN – Nothing going on with this today. Off my radar.

 

NTEK – Not much going on today with this but I’ll still be watching. They just signed a licensing deal with Paramount Pictures that will give UltraFlix users over 950 films. Ultra-low priced penny stock priced at .0113/share. I could see this jumping back up to .025 if it gets the volume. My entry would be .0135/share. Still waiting for people to pick up on this low priced stock.

 

SIXD – This was a great short today and a dip buy mid-day but it wasn’t moving fast enough for me. I like to be able to get in and out of a trade without sweating it out.

 

FORD – This was the only play I made today and I called it PERFECTLY! I caught this on the first dip at $1.60/share and sold at $1.80/share. It triple topped at $1.90/share and then came down to $1.50for most of the day. I decided to stay away for the rest of the day as I only have 2 more trades left to make this week. I really hate the PDT Rule but it does force me to be patient and precise with my picks. Cant wait until I have $25k saved so I can trade freely though. Nice close and now up after hours to $1.97/share. This ran all the way to 4 in early august so who knows how far this can go? Stay tuned.
