#papertrade. Saw this runup on the STT %gainers scanner and missed the initial run, but waited for a pull-back and a bull-flag formation. Saw that there could be some resistance at about 2.20, so planned an entry above that. Set risk at 2.00 and planned a conservative 2:1 Reward:Risk ratio for an exit at 2.75. STT failed on me and there was a problem with TOS paper trades, so no actual trade entry/exit, just my #notebook! Realise this could happen with a real trade though!

First #papertrade on TOS platform. Really need to get the hang of the software before I risk my own cash! As market data is delayed & I couldn't work out how to put in a Limit order, I got filled at Market price and lost about $0.10 on the BUY price from what I was aiming for. I scaled out ½ of my position initially, to lock in some profits & learnt that 2x SELL orders BOTH attracted a $9.95 commission!

Plan was to buy the break above previous day's close of 3.35, if volume dictated the move. All looked good and set too healthy a target of 4.00. After reaching a high of 3.65, it slowly ground down below my entry of 3.30, took ½ off t 3.25 and the rest at 3.10. Luckily kept to the plan, although at a loss. Broker fees high too, an extra $115! #learning!! Broker: Swissquote

#PAPERTRADING Saw this in the chatroom, so had a look. Tim also mentioned it. Saw it spiked as far back as June to the 6.0-ish level, with clear resistance at 4.00. It ran from about 2.09-3.04 before 10am, but dropped below 3. Initial support at 2.75 then 2.65, which seemed to hold. I felt that if it could hold a break above 3.00, it could possibly run to 4.00. Went higher - couldn't hold the high of 3.64. Slow grind lower to new support at 3.25 just around VWAP, small rise then exited @3.45.
