Again Another Small Loss. Commissions are taking a toll..

Another loss on the commission.. This was a simple mistake, I placed a "Sell Limit" to protect me from losses, wrong Order Type. Have you heard of "Free Ride", today I learn about this. And apparently my acct. will be restricted.
I was hoping to have a Gain on my first trade, but I take this small loss as a very affordable lesson. Please comment on this, so i can learn what i missed. $14 commission and $4 loss.
