I see new traders getting discouraged so maybe this will help. I use to play online poker for 3yrs before a bill was passed that deemed internet gambling illegal. I started with a $100 deposit. I seriously was down to $1 at my low. I went from playing .05/.10 tables to $25/$50 when I quit. My point is I lost at first but I learned from my mistakes and my account eventually grew to over $16,000. Look at the % growth LOL. It is crazy but the same principal applies. Like Tim says, small gains build you a big account over time. So in poker I used what is called "Pot odds" and now I use risk/reward (which is really the same thing). In closing, my first week I was down big too but in each of the following 3wks I have had positive gains. Not to mention the worst month in the market in 4yrs. We all can grow an account if we learn from Tim and not just follow. (DONT BET MORE THAN YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE. ALSO LEARN HOW TO BALLANCE A BANKROLL TO SURVIVE THE DROUGHTS) Thanks Timothy Sykes, looking forward to reaching the million dollar level.
It's been shown that good poker players have a lot of the skill-set required to be a succesful trader.
excuse me wheres the Link to start trading, this website has no direct link? tim never explained this far aha.
The droughts are extra tough. Going through one now. Do any of you guys sweep your profits in money market to get through them?
@TruMac You must have a broker account, TD, Suretrader, Tradeking, etc. Then you might want to sign up for one of Tim's monthly programs for videos, trades, and more. http://profit.ly/guru/timothysykes
