Been getting piled on with work lately. Still firmly believe the ultimate challenge of trading is getting it to work with your personal schedule. Looks like the next coming months are going to get swamped for me and I’m not going to be able to dedicate the time I was hoping to into my trading career. The struggle of having a family business is the obligation that it is all on you at the end of the day to make sure the family is financially secure. This is the exact reason I started getting into stock trading in the first place. The amount of stress that comes with a family brick and mortar business is you are married to this business day in and day out. It really cuts down on your quality of life. You don’t have the time to do the things you love with the people you love. To me trading is more about the freedom more than it is the money. Imagining that day where I show up a few times a week and make enough to be financially free, and also supportive for my family financially. This being said it’s a bit a speed bump in my trading career having to walk away from it a bit. I will still poke in from time to time but I think most of my dedication looking forward is going to be strictly post market. I will be still hard at work with my trading career after hours when I finally get the time with in-depth spread tracking. In my eyes trading is still going to be my long term career unfortunately lately. I’ve been maxed out the stress of having $10k+ on the line in a trade being on a forklift or fixing a machine and keeping on top of paper work has put me to all new highs with my stress levels. It’s something I feel will forever be impossible for me to balance. Have been really happy with my trading lately in this tricky market but lately. Heath wise, the people around me, the stress, the obsession with my dedication, the family business, projects on my shit list. I’ll be stepping away from the market during market hours for the most part. Going to work on further efficiency on the family business to hopefully buy myself more time to trade again. Still might see me trade from time to time. But I will likely be dedicating most of my time to mechanical odds further tracking to improve my trading now and to set me up for when I do finally get time to return that I will not miss a beat on current market conditions. For now the daily grind sucking me back into that miserable lifestyle but I will be back and better than ever.
