@Jackaroo Clearly this was about 3-31/2 yrs ago. Looks to me like a little confidence of someone believing in you can make all the difference in the world. Congrats on your success Jack! I truly believe we all have it in us & it just takes hard work & 1 person believing in you & believing in yourself. Your uncle is a great man.

@Jackaroo, I am a few years too late on reading the "blog post: Stick With It". However, it was very inspiring. What was inspiring was not the story in and of itself, but the idea that you choose to "believe" that sticking with something will reap a reward for you in the end. Having a belief is one thing, but making that dream come into fruition is another, which is extremely hard to do when you have not made it to the finish line to win the prize, and to be fair, Uncle Larry knew that for a dre

Solid run down. The slower months make us better traders for later. Then when at a certain level, just take a month or so off i think is best. september just so frustrating and more like playing against your own demons. instead of the market

@millerruth23 thanks! Glad you liked it. Psych is def a bigger part than I realized coming into this. Just looking to share my experiences for others to look back on and know it’s part of the process or that others go through it as well. All the best

@EMTrader no problem. Glad some of it resonated. I’m def not a pro but I always wanted stuff like this from experienced traders to know the process/struggles/psych is normal. Most don’t make the vids til they “make it” but I’m glad you took something from it. Still lots to learn for me

@Windwalzer I haven’t had any experience with pdt, but I hear it’s tough. All we can do is look at our trades while we’re in them, try and understand the feelings we’re having. Certain chart patterns aren’t as prévenant right now which is also tough. But thanks for watching, we will get better over time

@Windwalzer just talk with and network with other traders. Met some people through the chat rooms. Met Huddie at an in person coaching and just hit it off. Roland and sykes are 2 people I know of that organize (before corona) in person events

Is Huddie in Calif.? I suppose you don't need to have people in your state with chat. I will have to work on that. Thank you.

@Windwalzer sometimes. Haha. But ya, in today’s day and age you can connect from anywhere

That does make it easy in one way and not so easy in others. Thank you for your time. Have a good August.

So basically if you lose $20 on a trade, you are done for the day ?

D22
D22 Jul 09, 20 10:36 AM

@bullandbear no, I’ll take 5 trades in a day, all with $20 risk each. If the setups are there on the given day

super happy with the few things that clicked into this month, big believer in everything happens for a reason and just makes sense why it happened at the correct times.

Thank you for making this video to help us understand the importance of having mentors, seeing where things are going well, and not going well, and how to work smart and small to progress forward with a plan. Great job!
