OCGN panic at open, entry $14.50 area ***risking off $14 whole dollar*** Pre-Trade-Thoughts; SPY, big markets are ready for a pullback along with some of these runners. OCGN has a history of having multi-day runs, so plan was to expect 5-7% red move, execute 100 shares on the dip with expectation for bounce red to green; took profit early for 7.45% gain

I caught this one off an ABCD mid-session momentum scan; technically speaking it already had the ABCD pattern off the morning move, but this interested my eyes into the close with the float being only 37.79M shares and the name already trading 60M+ or so on the session. Executed long into weakness (1pm dip off the whole dollar area) and sold into strength.

Same setup that has been working well for me lately (3x avg. volume scanner). Located YVR & knew the float:9.06M - 3/22 afternoon the volume exceeded that threshold. I went long 1500 into strength before EOD at $4.36 w/ a plan of trading the name to the next whole dollar - Out in after-hours, $5.09 once I hit my goal. Could have had more patience for the clean multi-month breakout setup, which went to $7.50 the next morning, but I stuck to my plan.

Trade plan for this was to swing long after the 26day selloff $24 back to $31.50 area. Trade plan changed when the NASDAQ sold off 600pts on a SPY/QQQ green day. Made the first entry long into strength right before the market close 3/5 - took the exits on 3/8 after the NASDAQ rallied back and got out into strength in the afternoon at $24.57/share. Felt uncomfortable so I got out $24.57 with a profit, thinking that I could get back in lower.

Swing trade plan changed when the NASDAQ sold off 600pts on a SPY/QQQ green day. Made an audible to double up (1.7 unit size add) into weakness or first pull after the 1:30pm intraday move. Added 175 shares at $24.25 with a goal of this getting back up through $24.66 before the end of the session. Gave it a chance and got out into strength in the afternoon at $24.57/share. Felt uncomfortable so I got out $24.57 with a profit, thinking that I could get back in lower.

Round 2 momo GME, AMC, BB, KOSS etc. WSB runners. Caught this EOD off scan; long 750 share position. I did not use the best discipline buying late into the end of the session. The volume was there so I took the trade risking off $9 whole dollar with a goal of trading this to $9.75 or $9.85 area. Cut through the ask like butter into the close so I held a few minutes into the after hours because my goal was to get out before the end of the day. I got out before EOD.

Picked up on the mid-session volume scan knowing the float was only 9.83M shares and it had already traded 9M+ shares on the session. Price action was curling up into the close/PowerHour looking like a squeeze was likely. Chased a little, but got a decent entry on a dip $2.39 for 1000 shares risking off $2.20 area. Took the exits on the first rip before the pullback $2.87/share.

$XXII biotech runner spotted on intraday scanner near end of July, then trading volume of 8M-10M shares daily. I closely tracked July 31st selloff, but the stock continued to show higher lows on the daily chart with high % of the float short. Aug 4th - short squeeze w/ volume pop for clean breakout - Once past $2.50 I was thinking $3 waiting for the first major selloff. Started short into 8/7 morning spike pullback, entry $2.71 on VWAP snap, risking off $2.85 HOD - hard pullback under $2.50

Great discipline yesterday afternoon as I was watching the price action following the $2/share double bottom and then I got executed into a dip after that whole dollar area proved to hold support. Plan was to expect a HOD re-test either in the power hour or ideally the next morning where I wanted to sell into strength as the breakout approached the $2.50/share area (out at $2.42 execution). Without plans, preparation, and practice you are simply aiming at achieving an unrealistic goal.
