Might be a stupid question. Maybe the answer is to study, but I can't seem to find the answer. You can obviously spot a short squeeze while it's going, but is there a way to identify beforehand that there is a large # of people/shares shorted in real time.

Shorting isn't bad if you have a big account you can do certain strategies to limit the risk but for anyone with a small account be aware of the dark side. it to much power for us newbies to handle. We will get there eventually :)
