How do you determine how much time to give these plays before you cut losses?

@WWalker That's a damn good question. 20% is a lot of room, I wonder what was going through Tim's head during that trade.

@WWalker @Darktigr It's rare Tim has a loss this big (percentage wise). He would never advice giving it that much time (20%). This trade is just one of those trades that went wrong in my opinion.

What you described and the chart, it would seem it was a short sell instead of a long. I'm just looking at it as a newer student, I'm trying to understand and see the patterns that you are teaching. I know they are cookie cutter patterns. I just was reading when you entered and added and exited, it looks like a short play is all. Thank you for all the education you are instilling in me.
