VERU was a nice gainer Friday. I got out way too soon, but it was fun to watch it go after I exited. I didn't want to chase, but there was a lot of cash to be made on the way up. Sorry shorts.

It the beginning I only traded stocks that were up trending over the long term. (5yr) I did okay with it in the beginning. I was often hold over trading. Didn't realize only 3 day trades per week. So that halted me a few times. After burning my day trades I would walk away from the account for days or weeks at a time. Then when Bitcoin and Gamestop took off I checked in and saw that my cryptos were doing quite well. I should have sold everything I had in my account at the time, but I didn't and held for 4k less than I could have added. Since then I have gotten wiser. There are a few times that there is a good set up and if I wait for it the payoff is so much better than just seeing what pattern to play today kind of thinking. It does show up and when you see it, you know. With LIXT this morning I saw the alert and went to go check out the pattern. When I saw it dipping I thought the next alert was the I cut losses, but it was as add!? I took another look at the stock and watched it consolidate. It was still pre market and I didn't want to be caught it another sucker move so didn't buy the dip at 2.68. I waited until market open. Apparently it opened in the middle of fueling up and by the time I looked at the ticker it was rocketing north! I jumped in just as the cool down hit so waited to see if it would execute or not. It did and I rode it up to 4.25. Sold the first account in the first little dip on the rip and sold the second account in the second rip. When i saw the pattern I knew it was the one, but to play it safe I didn't put very much into it. there will be another and I will put more than 10 stocks into the pool.

I think I finely have enough trades under my belt to start looking at the patterns that have worked and how to refine my education on those specific patterns. I haven't done a trade every day. I'm taking profits while they are there. Added a few to the long on the more stable higher priced stocks. (Tesla) If it drops below 1072 I'll sell. It experienced a bit of a panic this morning (1076) Higher lows and lower highs all day 3.29.22. It's what I've head called a who knows pendant. Consolidation up or down? This is the 3rd time in history that it has had a 10 green day run before a red day. The 2st time it was a steady up trend for those 10 days, consistent volume, Slow decline flowed by a steady climb again. Like a gentle wave. Second time there was a bit of pull back, but continued. $64-72 in the 9 day period. before first red day. Day 15 was the spiker and 2nd red day of the run where it went down from there. $54-61 on the previous 10 day run Had a gap down in the middle of the green day run. First red day spiked to around $63. Held resistance at the $54 mark for several weeks be fore climbing again. The previous 9 day run of green $4.50ish had a 30 day up trend.

Lesson: Another super nova will come along. NRSN was amazing to watch this morning. Once I was able to get internet service I noticed NRSN spiking. I tried to get in the dip at 2.99 and by the time I got the form filled out it was in the low-mid 3's. I thought about getting in after it jumped the $4 range Once it was high 5's I was just enjoying the show. Then at the freeze as $6.14 I thought about getting in there too, but held off and waited to see how things went. Watching to see how I would have played if I'd had a position. I would have been out way before the top. It was good to see how it went. There will be another one, I will be more prepared and hopefully have better internet!

I don't do options. Once was enough. Couldn't sell it. Price was too choppy. Couldn't seem to roll it over either so took the option and will sell the shares later. Glad I had the funds to purchase them.

If I rotate between the 3 accounts I should have at least one day trade open per day if I see a good play I just can't watch. Focus on trades I feel good about. For long trades of several days... We will get there. for now, focus on the spiking stock and see what the support and resistance levels are.

Lesson: Stick with day trades. Hold overs are killing my percentage on cut losses quickly. However, if I was better at figuring out the support levels I could have turning some of the losses into wins. Need to focus on where my support levels are. I do best with $3-5 stocks so far. But maybe because I cut my teeth on the IMPP stock. PIK has done a good job of mirroring it, but i've not played well. I did wipe out the loss from yesterday with a much better play today. Wanted to take profits while I still had them, so didn't get to my goal of 7+.

Lesson: Cancel all orders that don't get filled right away. I'm really frustrated right now. took three tired to get in on the afternoon spike on pik. By the time I was in it was at the dip near the top. I tired to sell at what ended up being the top and the order didn't take so I lowered my price and again no dice, a third time while i was still on the up side. In order to change the order I had to cancel the previous one before entering a new price. It was frustrating going up and coming down. I had put in 2 previous orders trying to buy in and didn't cancel. With all the selling frustration I didn't remember that I had 2 open orders and as the stock tanked my orders were executed and then I was really in a bad place. NOW I had a ton more shares than I had intended I owning and I needed to get out and get out fast. Each time I put in a sell order below the price I was seeing the stock would be past it before the order got submitted. It was a very frustrating win that went to a very bad loss. I had a great entry with 50 cents of up side was the plan. The stock spiked an additional 10 cents before descending. So frustrating. Oh well. I don't want to have my shares on the wait list to sell either because if things go south I have to cancel that order before I can execute a second order. Yes, I'll post the what was supposed to be a win as a loss.

Executed a perfect trade today! Everything went according to plan. I had a day trade open and everything went well. Position size was poor, but the plan worked. Feeling really good about that. In other news the TD Ameritrade app is crap. This time it took 10 minutes for the trade to finely get through all the authentication and passwords BS and by then it was a loosing trade. Switching to the Think or swim app.

Looked things over today and didn't see anything that looked good enough to hold over night so kept the cash and will look for a better play tomorrow. Take profits when you can. Stay out when you should!
