Entry comments: Bought $PTX on news of "three new orange book patents". It didn't sound like very worthy news to me, but the market has already traded over 1.5M shares premarket and sentiment seems very positive overall.
Exit comments: Should have went with my gut instead of my heart and just not traded this. There was a big wall of sellers in the low $0.70s and price approached VWAP with just a couple minutes to market open. I asked out loud "If I didn't have a position right now, would I be buying, selling, or doing nothing?" I decided the latter, so I planned to reduce my position size but by this time price was close enough to VWAP that I decided to sell all of it. I'm glad too, because as I write (9:37), price is $0.56

Entry comments: Bought this low float on news $SPEX executing second license agreement with RPX Corp, after spiking about 35% premarket.
Exit comments: Spiked HUGE premarket and at market open. It happened so fast I couldn't even keep up (my adjusted risks) with the growing VWAP. I was planning to cut my gains once the price touched back down to VWAP, but the internet cut out. After I got it back, I saw it had receded below VWAP, and was coming back up again. I waited, but after bouncing off VWAP, I sold thinking it was now acting as resistance for the market rather than support.

Entry comments: Bought this technology sector stock to hold overnight on rumors of $AAPL willing to pay $5/share for this company in order to "catch up" in the VR industry. $MVIS owns 500 patents that are supposed to become the future of augmented reality. The acquisition could happen at any moment, handing $AAPL the largest patent portfolio on the market. Buying on the idea that rumors will float around overnight, creating some buying pressure tomorrow AM hopefully.
Exit comments: Sold premarket due to lack of market interest. The rumor didn't seem to spread like I anticipated overnight so I'm cutting my losses so I can focus on $SPEX.

Chased this slow price action on the way down and paid the price for it. I've now used up all of my ETrade trades for this week on Monday. I am overtrading because I'm not being patient enough to wait for the best setups.I need action to determine where a price wants to go next.

Expected $MGT's potential in NXTD, but only because I wanted to. I searched for evidence that supported my hopeful prediction instead of thinking of counter evidence. Even after only seeing one small spike from NXTD that I was too late for.

Entry comments: Bought this about fifteen minutes after the company announced "promising results" for Zika vaccine in lab mice. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/inovio-says-zika-vaccine-shows-123054619.html
Exit comments: Consolidated for a little bit after market open and then panicked past my stop loss point at $6.90 before I could catch it. Cutting losses quickly because the price is not doing what I want. I'm out of day trades or else I'd be shorting this now.

This is an averaged entry price because I actually went short at $9.16 on the 10th of Feb and then reshorted several times because of the morning panic. I accumulated 500 shares short and then covered them all at 8.74. After commissions, I probably lost money but the strategy I used will prove effective in the future when I'm playing with a bigger stack of chips.
