This was a bone headed play. Thought it was spiking, but it collapsed, and I scrambled to get out. Emphasizes doing prior analysis, not just reading the chart, and cut losses quickly!
Entry Comments: Dip bought this at 1.84, was still red on the day, but I felt it might have legs based on recent trends from similar stocks. Exit Comments: Held overnight, sold into the meat of the move at market open. Left .20/share on the table, but overall, a solid trade for my first positive with my E-trade account (still getting used to those fees!)
Held this overnight, it had a decent gain, but then it cracked quickly (like Tim predicted), and I botched the exit. I had a stop order for .352, but canceled it (due to GREED haha). Another one to learn from!
This was an interesting trade, as I made money on the price action, but lost money overall by not factoring in broker fees. Good lesson, I've already written a blog post about it, so I'll continue to study!
Entry Comments: Took small dip buy position. Got in at the bottom .2187. Exit Comments: Tried to get out at .27, but was moving too fast. Tried first time to get out at .25, order was rejected. Watched it bounce around .22-.23 before it got back to .25 and I exited. A little bit hope, but I knew what I wanted, and was ready for quick losses if necessary. Another positive result!
Entry Comments: Didn't really have a plan going in, so I chased it. Exit Comments: It dipped, I panicked, took my losses quickly, burned a day trade, and ended up leaving money on the table. Lesson learned, study and planning, ALWAYS!
Entry Comments: Took a 100 share position on the bounce at .1866 Exit Comments: After several spikes and small dips, it cracked after testing .3, and I exited with my best result to date. It turns out that I could've held longer, but I took my profits quickly instead of holding and hoping.
Entry Comments: Took a small position after it broke resistance at .65, but didn't get in until .6689 because I'm still figuring out ordering. Exit Comments: Took a small win, mainly to get a positive result on my first trade. Held overnight, got out at open when it started to slide.
