2 Tips For Getting Your Thinking Right
These are things I’ve learned and applied and found extremely effective; not my original ideas.
1 – Are you teachable? If you think you have it all figured out, you’re not learning anything new. The true masters know what they don’t know and are always open to learning and changing their opinions, views and strategies. If you are not teachable, it will prevent further growth (in any area of your life). Keep doing what is working but know there is greater success ahead if you are open to it, staying the same, thinking the same, and acting the same way keeps you where you are with the same results you’ve always gotten. Ask yourself every day, “how teachable am I?”
2 – Recognizing other’s success. Do you get jealous and mad when other people hit a big play and your sitting on the sidelines? Although it can be good to get mad and use this to refocus on your goals, this jealousy can be hurting your success in a big way. How do you overcome this?
An effective way is by genuinely recognizing others for their success. When you feel envious of other’s successful trades, money, success, whatever, in that moment send them genuine praise and recognition, either in your imagination or in real life. Practicing this regularly is a key to success.
A perfect example is when Tim is giving shout outs to successful traders, instead of being jealous, I imagine that person is on stage in front of me, and I am applauding them, as part of an imaginary audience, enthusiastically for their win. Try it, you will feel something shift inside and it will release blocks.
excellent advise for staying positive and humble
