still long 2k shares. Was going to hold the full 11k shares but this is too high of a position size for me to be comfortable so I wanted to lock in gains at the open.
Thanks tim for the informative video lessons. Had shares boxed for a long time (short at IB, long at suretrader) and unboxed before the drop today. Couldn't short more than 150 shares due to limited funds in IB. Short net 100 shares again into close.
first time I've been net long on this stock expecting a morning gap up, happened exactly as I expected. Still have shares boxed from a long time ago
Was very confident the odds favoured a gap-up and continued run but of course was too nervous to hold a full position overnight. Overall not unhappy with how I did on this though.
Used thinkorswim/Suretrader. Holding 6k overnight. Multiple trades of course so the entry and exit prices are the approximate averages. $158 in commissions from suretrader.
