I started the end of July 2019 with $2100. I wanted to give trading another chance since I was not getting it and I had stop trading for a couple of years. I did a lot of paper trading before July and what I think really helped me was Roland Wolf DVD. It was in his dvd I had my aha moment and really started to understand. Prior to watching his dvd I watch Tim Sykes DVD, Tim Grittani, Nathan (from investor underground) Steven Dux. Which is great information and strategy but my issue was I was over whelmed with information and tried all the strategies from the DVD and tried to trade like each one of them. 

 

What stood out to me with Roland was he had the same information that I'm getting but he made it his own. That was the key. So I went back and I re-evaluate the content in each dvd and I was going to stick to certain things that work for me. I took a little from Nate, a little from Tim S, a little from Tim G, from Steven and from Roland to help make me profitable trader. 

That's the little back story. Coming out the gate I had a good July and by Oct I had grew my account by 5k. I was thinking this was going to be a piece a cake and I would be able to quit my job in no time. Boy was I wrong. I had rough Nov and a Dec that should have been a lot better. I was too confident and I was not sticking to the plan or rules so I would win one lose one. Win two lose two. I had to go back to the drawing board and re-evaluate what was causing me to lose. 

surprisingly it was taking profits. I wanted the home run. I made 1k in one trade one day and I was chasing after that experience again. I fixed that issue in Dec and I was finally able to see my profit chart progress upwards. 

I know I am still a ways from being a top trader but I know this is a good start and I am on my way. If I can do it anyone can too.
