Got the supernova alert for AKER. I bought in @ 3.01 then sold for a loss of $51 as it began downtrending. I wish I would've held! I saw it begin to uptrend, then bought in again @ 3.40 and sold @ 4.27 for a gain of $219 (hence, $168 total profit). I wish I would've held more! It reached past $5 as I'm typing this, and I'm all out of day trades. Nevertheless, I'm thankful for the $168 profit. Thank you Tim Sykes, and yes, I think your calls are spot on, but some of these supernova plays require a bit of patience (just like BMRA), as they tend to downtrend mid morning, then correct and uptrend as they approach noon and thereafter. The ideal buy in time for AKER today would've been around 10a in the 2.70 range. Perhaps next supernova, one could be patient and analyze what happens around that time. (Also, I only buy/sell, and I don't short or plan on shorting shares, since my account is less than $2000, and it's super risky. Maybe in a few years, haha.)
Great job getting back in for a profit! I only papertraded this morning and had a loss of $97, but I enjoyed watching this one all day. Definitely lots more to learn!
Good Job, I actually lost $47 this morning and went to work. Didn't get to come back until after closing bell only to find that I could have got back in at the $3.75 that I lost on this morning and made all that and some back. The lesson from this for is to set up my alerts.
