Stock was alerted by BN as CEO of company was buying shares at above market value. This is seen as a positive sign. It spiked, consolidated for a few minutes and was looking to b/o higher. Went slightly up for 2 mins but then was showing red candles so I got out for a small loss. It continued to sink back down throughout the day.

Entry comments: I was holding this stock at $2.50 a few weeks ago but the news came out that it was to uplist to the NASDAQ. I heard this normally causes a drop in price so I sold. Today uplisted and had a spike out of the gate but then pulled back. Midday there was news of a $66M contract win. I bought as a swing as I think this has a lot of upside potential.

Exit comments: Sold half on Sep 3 as it was up nearly 25%. Stock was running with ETH. It came down with a pull back of ETH. Then Sep 14 they changed the ticker and I didn't know what was happening or why the chart had no data so I just closed out the other half of my position.

Entry comments: Adding to my Cineplex position. Swing trade for when COVID ends and business can open up again.

Exit comments: Very sad to take this loss. Was up nearly 20% got greedy. Today news came out of a long court case and I was worried it would really drop the value so I sold my position for a loss. Lesson learned to not get greedy when a stock is up that much.

Bought this stock as it had breaking news that is was expected to have a short squeeze. It spiked and looked to be forming a cup. I bought as I thought it might breakout again after the cup consolidation. I saw two red candles and sold as I have a very tight risk. A few minutes later it did b/o from the spike high but would have only been about 4%. Markets have been on the decline for a week so didn't have much hope in this trade.

Exit comments: Closed as it pushed to a new high. Will look for it to dip again to get back in.

Got an email recommending this stock for an option trade. I didn't feel comfortable with the risk on a call but I bought the stock on the recommendation. I held until earnings released after hours today. I was slowly climbing over the weeks and on earning release it jumped about 15% in AH. I had a sell order set for half which filled right away and then I sold the other half a few minutes later as it seemed to hit resistance. It may run higher tomorrow but I'm very happy with 30% gain.

Entry comments: I was away from my computer most of the day and missed a good day of run up on this recent IPO. It was holding above VWAP, volume was up in the afternoon and hitting the HoD just before market close. i bought with the intention of selling into strength in AH or holding over night and hoping for a gap up. I feel a bit nervous because I have been setting a low risk lately and that is not really possible with o/n holds.

Exit comments: I did not get a gap up and ended up holding for over 3 months. It kept trading between the $20-24 range but never went higher than where I bought. I was feeling frustrated and sold on a bad day since it had 4 green days in a row I thought tomorrow it will likely go red. It could have eventually worked but I got sick of holding. Took a 7% loss. It did climb over the next couple days to where I originally placed my sell limit

This spiked on a BN medical FDA approval. I watched it spike, consolidate for 2 minutes and then looked to regain the high of the spike. I bought on the way up. The next candle immediately went red so I sold for a small loss. If I would have waited one minute it spiked 15% in the next couple minutes. I got scared and this is not my type of pattern.

This stock had a massive sell off the past two days. It seemed to hit a bottom and was altered by John Papa. I thought it looked like a good dip buy with support found so I bought. I think I didn't realize how big the range on each candle was. It started dropping and I kept a tight risk so sold for a 8% loss in 3 minutes. Later it did almost regain VWAP.
