I wanted to share one of my biggest losers I had this year this was just a 6-7% looser for me in my overall portfolio and how I handled it. The stock gaped and I had to cover, I did not want to hold on as per my rules. I did trade this ticker successfully in one of my trades but the last 2 turned out to be a stinker

This stock was also added to one of the new block chain etf called blok

 

Lessons:

 

Avoid trading earnings and also if you are going to trade let the price action settle first don`t just trade gap ups or break out without watching the price action volatility. Patience rewards in the end.
