BIOS:
-Upside: Return to $4.22 April 2015/Feb 2011 Low. Beat on earnings, 6.2% increase in PY Revenue same quarter LY. Present uptrend on short term chart.
-Downside: Return to $1.87 Sept 2015/Mar 2009 Low. $418 million in debt results in $9 mil per quarter interest payment, weights down EPS (mostly negative). Millions of bagholders from Jan 2015 $6.11 stock price to downward slide to $2.50 stock price in July.
After the fact check: BIOS started Monday at $1.96, finished Friday at $1.97. It took until Nov 4th to spike to $2.68. I would have had to hold for 8 business days to have the 36% spike.
DRAD:
-Upside: $5.90 stock price over 5 year high with clear breakouts. EPS $0.19/year. Could be earnings winner if $0.06/per share target is beaten on 10/28 Earnings Call.
-Downside: Support is at $4.75 and $4.00. Wait until after earnings to see market response. Do not trade if there is an earnings miss or a lackluster market response to earnings.
Chart: http://finance.yahoo.com/echarts?s=DRAD+Interactive#{"range":"1mo","allowChartStacking":true}
After the fact check: Monday 10/26 price $5.99, Friday 10/30 price $5.92. On Nov 5th the stock spiked up to $6.44 after earnings win on Friday 10/30 at 11:00am. EPS estimates were at $0.06 per share and actual EPS posted at $1.12 per share. A 7.5% holding a stock for 10 business days is not bad, but inconsistent with TIM's strategy.
BPTH:
-Upside: Shares up 30% from $1.27 pre 10/20 BIO Investor Forum to $1.57 after Investor Forum and announcement of successful phase 1 clinical trial for Leukemia chemotherapy drug.
-Downside: Clinical trial announcement was on Oct 9th and the share price did not budge. There is resistance at $1.80 from March 2015/April 2015.
After the fact check: Monday 10/26 stock price of $1.55, Friday 10/30 stock price was $1.44. This was a clear 7% loss.
