[TimAlerts] Anyone planning to hold a short of $GENE overnight?

I just updated all of my trades from October 10th through today. Needless to say the reality check has been an eye opener! I am down to $231 profits. I was up last time to $4k. The change in October literally killed me and it took me two months to make it up. I am not giving up though. Thanks to Timothy Sykes @timothysykes for the few big winners that helped balance my losses. If it wasn't for Tim I would've been under. I've traded 222 trades - that was a huge reality check. I need to STOP that but the lessons that I have learned have been invaluable. You can't put a price on it! I think one of the lessons or one of the changes I am going to make come Monday is uploading my trades daily. I think it is so important because it will keep me on my toes. I look forward to studying this weekend like a madwoman. Did I say that I love trading! I am so passionate about it. I can't wait to have 10 years under my belt.

@RuthH How long have you been in the Trading Challenge? I've been in it since last Feb, and seem to lose more than I make. Now I'm down about $500. I feel like I "get it" but for some reason it's just not materializing in the executions.

I hear ya. It takes time, I look at a ton of charts and read a lot on technical analysis. It's a lot to learn for sure but it's exciting.

I procrastinate on uploading my trades too, mainly because I don't want to face up to the reality of losses, but I think your right, doing it daily makes a difference!
