Hey everybody! Reporting live from Miami. Just got a little rain, not too much of Matthew so back to trading. A trader is only as good as the tool he uses (I'm pretty sure someone said that before...if not, I call dibs on the quote). With that said I'm trying to find the best/most convenient/simple stock website that I can use for free. There are a bunch out there! Marketwatch and Finviz were two that I discovered today that are pretty dope. Will do more research though to see what I like better. So far I'm only using the thinkorswim platform with yahoo finance for company info.
Today was a pretty slow day. AUPH has a lot of premarket activity and just failed throughout the day. I should've watched it better but again, with this hurricane, I haven't been concentrating. BUT IM BACK AT IT NOW. I have a good feeling about tomorrow. I'm free all day and going to watch the market for any potential over the weekend long positions. I'm about half way finished through Traderchecklist so I'll try and get that finished over the weekend.
Two questions:
Do any of you guys trade only the NASDAQ or will you occasionally glance at the NYSE market? I was trying to limit myself to only NASDAQ but it seems kinda arbitrary to do so....I missed GNK today for example. That's a nice play that my scanner missed.
Also,
I noticed Tim is shorting a lot more now since the market isn't uptrending. Does anyone know how to find shares to short using TOS? That would be really helpful!
Stay disciplined my friends!
