I'm wrapping my head around shorting stock terminology now...and found out how I loss rather than gained. I put in for the trade to short at .71 thinking if I sold at .73 it was a gain but it actually was a loss because I bet naively that the stock will drop. OK! Back to the drawing board!

Well...second trade, not sure what I'm missing and a bit agitated about it! BUT tomorrow is another day, watching videos and finishing up on Tim's 117 rules! Good luck everyone!

@sharmayneh Hi, Just wanting to ask what you think of Fidelity online brokers that I see you use. I'm with Suretrader and I noticed you shorted XLIT. Suretrader had no shares to short which was a bummer.

I signed with them through a job stock buy, this is my first time as a individual that I traded stock there. It was a fee of 7.95 every time sell or buy, I have nothing to compare to. They offer alerts and I have to see if there is a automatic sell or trade option. That might have been a but much! I don't see the chart like what I would see on Sykes videos though.
