When I received the possible Supernova Alert from timothysykes this morning at 8:30 am CDT saying it had just past $3/share based on a catalyst (good news here https://tim.ly/3c1mV7H), I jumped on within a minute to check it out. The first thing I noticed was that it had already jumped up to $3.64 and was still moving up fast! I was going in for the trade but paused long enough to notice it had jumped to $3.88, and less than two minutes had passed!
(I apologize if the graphs aren't clear. I'm still learning how to use the program!)
I decided to wait on buying in since it was moving so fast and because the alert also said, "...goal is 4 or 5", which for me was too close to reaching for me to buy in at this point. So I watched instead. It jumped to over $4/share by 8:33 am CDT, and about two minutes later it was already down to $3.71/share. It continued to drop back down around $2.85/share about 10 minutes later, but then it starting to increase again. I also noticed its volume was increasing rapidly as well, so I decided to papertrade it. I grabbed 300 shares for $3.16/share by 8:45 am CDT, and less than 10 minutes later it had dropped back to the $2.80-range. I decided to cut my losses a little at a time, but it was moving downward too fast so I sold all 300 shares within a few minutes of each other.
Having received another Supernova Alert on $AKER at 12:07 pm CDT, I checked it to see that it reached over $4/share again! If I had held out and sold when I checked at that time, then I would have profited $282 within 4 hours. If I had continued to hold until 12:49 pm CDT (when I checked the latest price to see it had reached a high of $4.65/share), then I would have profited $447 within 5 hours!
Needless to say, this was a huge eye-opener for me actually getting to see such chart action and to see what's possible with this type of stock. So thankful to be learning from timothysykes right now!
**UPDATE: It has now reached over $5/share as of 1:35pm CDT! Talk about potential profits not gained! lol**
