Wow, I was born in raised in the Boston Burbs, as soon as I graduated college I moved to hawaii and spent about 20 yrs there and then moved to Alaska. I have been a carpenter for about 30 yrs. My Dad came down with multiple Myeloma cancer but it was in remission for almost a decade but when it came rearing back and had a noticeable effect on my Dads health I really wanted to go spend time with him but debt and work stood in the way. I looked at everything I could do for a living that would allow me to travel and still earn money and the best fit was day trading. From then on it was game on. For a full year I have gotten up at 4am and either read or watched educational stock videos and prepped for the market open at 5:30 and then paper traded or just got screen timed seeing how various watchlists performed. At 8 or 9 I would go and work my full time job and after work I would watch 3-4 hours more of educational content. Wash, rinse and repeat. I did a few trades in Nov but I really went live Dec 8th. I have started with 100 share lots and have really enjoyed success, but I have a small account and the larger lots still scare me. I will try to start scaling up this week but I am really not in a rush now. My Dad passed July 27th ironically at 4:20 Alaska time. I really needed something to deal with the grief and I went even deeper on the daytrading. I live in a really small town and when people see me they ask where I have been. I have not been very forthcoming because to most people this would seem like a pipedream to trade stocks for a living while still wearing my pajamas. Well it no longer appears to be a dream, it appears to be a reality and I believe my future is upon me. Aloha
Keep it up man.
Thanks Brah, I will do my best
