I haven't written about my lifestyle while consistently improving in a while. Since last February I've put in thousands of hours easily into studying all of the material, reading books that are recommended by successful traders, audiobooks on trading and also improving my overall health/fitness and psyche. I've worked super hard at all this and the past few months have gone by so fast at an almost unbelievable speed. Starting mid-July I started to be consistent in a way that gave me confidence to be able to do this. July was an 11k profit month, August was 28k and so far in September I'm up around 5k into the first week. My account is 70k at the moment and as time goes on and my account grows more, it seems like I'm getting less stressed out every morning to trade. It's like it's getting easier and my confidence is solid. Everything is cool. No anxiety like in the newb days or not knowing what to do in certain situations... I'm just there and ready each morning with my routine.
Last year around this time was when things started to click a lot more. I can remember that I was just finishing all of Grittani's webinars (all 70 of them) and was done with all of Goode's and getting started with Lento's. I was probably about 1000 video lessons in and still having a hard time understanding chart patterns in comparison to what I know now. I accepted that I didn't know enough and just stuck to what was working at the time which was shorting OTC pump and dumps with a small account and swinging them. I tried shorting listed pump and dumps, but I would have periods of "squeeze threats" that always stressed me out with the small account. Anyway, since then I have studied like crazy and basically live in my little office. I take two 3 hour naps a day in the office and go home to shower and change and that's it. Sometimes I'll only get 1-3 hours of sleep a day because of the excitement I get from wins or whatever. I try to sleep, but I just can't get enough of this stuff. In those situations I'll just keep watching video lessons until I'm tired and pass out on the floor Lol (happens a lot).
I decided when the pandemic hit to add hiking to the mix since the gyms closed. I have to credit this to helping for trading. On most days I'll go hiking here in Los Angeles from 5pm-sunset and take cool architecture photos of mid century modern homes (check out my photos on my instagram evningdoji). During the hikes I'll listen to audiobooks on trading or trading related. At the moment I just finished "The New Market Wizards" and I'm currently on "The Talent Code" which was recommended by Mike Bellafiore in his trading book "The Playbook," another classic and must read. My audible collection is probably around 100 trading audiobooks and I'm constantly looking for new ones. I've also built up to doing 3 sets of 100 pushups a day and eating a low carb diet with lots of collagen protein in coffee, water and anything I can put it on. I'm 36 years old now and my knees and joints from my baseball playing days can be felt now. I've felt such an improvement since I've been taking this stuff. Night and day! I learned this collagen stuff from the mid 30s UFC fighters that all take it, like Jorge Masvidal who is also 36. All of this definitely helps to clear my head and feel good and healthy while trading just like an olympic athlete is ready for the competition.
Some pictures below: My setup in the office. I ordered a hand painted Tulipomania canvas the other day and had it framed. Kinda cool! Also, I got an Alec Monopoly wall street graffiti on canvas there. and a Auguste Rodin quote by the computer. Been really enjoying this journey and the process involved to being successful. On Saturdays and Sundays I always breakdown every single one of my trades during the week, tick by tick on the charts and go over stats on TraderVue. TraderVue verifies trades automatically and puts stats up along with it and a place to journal trades. It's great. With Profitly it's cool because of the community here, but Tradervue is great for personal use. A mixture of both is perfect! On weekends I'll also go over the webinars again from the past week and do some reading from books I couldn't get on audio. I'm currently reading "Sold Short" which is so far so good. I love the book! I'm also going over Michael Goode's SEC Filings DVD and I have Nate Michaud's Tandem Trading and Textbook trading which are like 15 hours all together for this long weekend. Always work to do and I love it!

What resources have actually helped your trading the most? I find a lot of garbage by people who used some gimmick which no longer works, or people who teach to trade because they couldn't profit consistently.
Wasn't done typing that, anyway just wondering which resources actually helped you profit?
@Alias_noa all of them. i spend 18 hours a day doing everything. you sound like you make excuses for yourself to actually take the time to learn everything.
I have spent a lot of time learning, but when I learn new concepts I backtest them programmatically. They very rarely pan out long-term. The only ones I have seen that work are shorting pumps like Steven Dux does, or writing a program that catches pump and dumps really quickly which I did for cryptos but then they stopped having them for some reason so I wasn't able to use it much. Besides, not "all" resources can help...anyone can write a book without any proof of trading succesfully. I coul
