Trade small or on paper, gotta re-work your rules and those rules should include cutting losses fast!

Thanks. I will. I'm also going to re-watch more of your videos until I beat the rules into my brain!

I feel ya, today was not the greatest day at all for me. I kinda identify myself a bit with you atm, im new at trading as well, have a small account and over the past few days i've been chopping down my acc. What i've learned so far is: 1. There's no point in getting back in a lost trade cause in the end the only one who's gonna lose will probably be you (Change your way of thinking about emotional trading), 2. Need to be disciplined in all aspects but specially in over-trading at the beginning,

3. Trade small cause it's easy to blow your account, but the less you put in a trade the better, even when making less money, 4. Take your gains quick.. I always wait and wait and then i take $40 when i "coulda shoulda woulda" made $150. This is all i have learned the hard way and i want to share it with you. Keep strong mf and study!

I finally unloaded RAVE for a small loss. The opportunity cost of keeping a stock that kept moving sideways from my position was killing me. There are so many other stocks that are in play so I'm off to hunt them.

I used some of the techniques I learned from Tim's videos and found XOMA. It had broken through its 6 month resistance range. I bought some as soon as it cracked it at $4.16. So far so good but I am excited because I found this on my own using what I've learned instead of following alerts.

I'm keeping an eye on this and cringing. Hopefully you've got your plans in place! Good luck!

@removalprojects I haven't been following the stock, but it doesn't really matter.. 3 things immediately came to my mind after reading your post. 1) It looks like you've entered a trade without an exit plan. Always have an entry and exit plan before you ever make a trade. 2) cut losses quickly. 3) if you don't know what to do, get the hell out, reflect on how you got yourself in such a position, learn from it, and move on.

This is me and my lovely wife with our son watching the greatest baseball team in baseball right now...The Pittsburgh Pirates! Sorry to any Pirate haters out there but you must watch a game at PNC Park!
