I've been saving money for my Suretrader account and papertrading for some time now. Although it's incredibly frustrating missing out on these awesome plays, it's given me the opportunity to gain tremendous confidence in my abilities and skill as a trader. So far I have turned 5k into 118k since March 10th using realistic normal sizing and realistic everything. My losses are cut almost immediately and my patience to let these plays run when I'm right has dramaticly improved. My entries and exits are based on support, resistance, and volume. Next week I am finally funding my account and trading with real money and real profits once again Thursday I shorted APHB twice and these are the results.
Notice I only take a position when the support has failed and cover when it seems to develop a base once again. And of course at the end of the day it dips below 3 and finds res. so I made a caculated decision to go huge (the biggest position I've taken so far) and short overnight due to the daily chart and the fact there was a good chance of financing. ALL of this is straight of of Sykes DVD's except maybe the insane risk I took with this parabolic lol
@Torkers Thank you! I have traded before and emotion was a bit of an issue but I feel alot better this time knowing I'm going into it with the right mindset. GL to you as well!
Good luck kid. Try not to change what's working.
@robstar Thank you!
I just started paper trading and leaning. This is what gives me motivation!
