@MichaelGoode can you suggest what data package to get with Interactive Brokers? There are so many on offer, I have no idea which one to get. Thanks

hi kroyrunner which brokers do you use?

@timothysykes Hi Tim, what data package do you suggest if using Interactive Brokers? Thanks

@readyforchange just became a fully transparent trader today!
@jaybizzle Tim doesn't use TWS to look at charts or quotes-- just to trade. He uses Etrade Pro for everything else
Doesn't IB cost more than Etrade when you trade over 10,000 or more of a penny stock. I remember I got charged a lot and then got e trade for pennies since they charge a flat rate and IB is per share.
10,000 shares or more I mean. Someone in chat got charged 60 round trip for 20,000 shares of SKLN today.
Yes, Trading large number of shares at IB of low-priced stocks will get expensive. For me that is worth it because IB is one of the few brokers that will let you short such stocks. But if you will be trading lots of sub $0.50 stocks then a per-trade commission plan (such as with Etrade) would be better.
