yes. you seen that correct, im down a fucking grand on my second day of trading. i chased, didnt cut losses quickly, followed alert, did NO research except price and chart. i traded during illiquid times,.. ALL WRONG.
trust me i will not make this mistake again BECAUSE:
I am going to trade 9-12, and 2-4. I will ONLY enter trades based on my PREVIOUSLY DONE RESEARCH and take profits accordingly and CUT FUCKING LOSSES at my 2% risk level ($60) MAXIMUM (but mostly based off support and ideally less than 2%)
i was a fucking gunslinger and i regret it. im going to continue traing using only 100 shares for any SNIPE.
HOWEVER PLEASE HELP ME ON THIS:
i am LONG overnight on $MCUR 2000 shares at around $1.84. its currently trading $1.51 after hours. i want to give it till tomorrow to go up and sell into a spike, however this is the thinking thats gotten me so deep.
in all honesty, i think MCUR might have a morning panic.
fuck it, ill figure it out premarket. if its going up ill let it fly and sell in the high 1.60s and 1.70s. still a loss but idgaf.
i will cut losses quick, im not playing no more wtf.
I haven't been trading very long myself, but I definitely suggest trading during the day instead of over night till you really get your feet wet. I learned this the hard way. But if you like overnight I would at least trade small positions until you get consistent with certain setups. Goodluck man!!!
Your first trades you are going to mess up ,everyone does at the beginning then you learn what not to do. Try smaller positions from now on. Once you have more experience then you can size up. And For MCUR I would sell it as soon as possible, Cut Losses Intelligently, Or Cut loses Quickly. Hope this helps.
I think im going to begin trading really small overnight positions, too. Good idea!
Try smaller position sizes to get your system perfected. I'm a new trader too and playing with small positions. The position you have in MCUR @ 2000 shares looks big for only your second day trading. At least you know where you are going wrong, just learn from this now.
