Was watching this stock the whole morning but didn't have the balls to pull the trigger... became too emotional and just left it until afternoon... saw the stock spiking past $12 so i waited for a pull back to buy on! Level two and pull backs were really clean and I finally was able to pull the trigger making quick profit as the stock moved so fast! There were more pull back opportunities to buy at but I was scared to give back to the market so left it alone... FIRST EVER BIG WIN!
Was buying on consolidation for a break over HOD... momentum was low so stock couldn't break resistance but I was trying to be patient... I was up about $15 at one point but then became over patient and ended up selling for an unnecessary loss as the stock came back up for a chance to break even! Will stock to buying dips/pull backs
Entered for a dip buy as the stock had a perfect morning panic but I saw that the stock couldn't break $5.3 so i panicked and sold for a tiny gain... literally two minutes later the stock spiked all the way to $6!!! Need to learn to be patient and read level two as well as have my risk reward level set out!
Cut losses quickly because it went below my risk level but I was on the right track... a few minutes later the stock spiked past $11.70... i hesitated to buy the second dip because of my loss and missed out on the play..
exited late.. no more following alerts... learn to trade without relying on anyone
I was too scared to pull the trigger on the dip buy and missed out on the huge move..instead I waited for a pullback and held onto the stock, being patient with it even though it tanked after my entry.. was watching indicators and technical levels closely to cut losses but the stock was strong and spiked to $2. Small win..will learn to pull the trigger on better setups
unnecessary loss but a very good lesson.. I knew 100% the stock was just pulling back but I stuck to being strict with my rules and cut losses when it cracked below support... 2 minutes later the stock went parabolic to $4.60+! should've been a win instead of a loss.. will be more patient instead panicking due to emotions
