Check out my watchlist for today, https://profit.ly/user/georgenehmi1/watchlist/monday-february-6-2017-watchlist this should give you some ideas on how to set yours up. i also usually post one every day before the mkt open
Don't trade everyday. Use a 10 day and 20 day moving average on market ticker SPX(S&P500). These moving averages indicates the market trend. If the market has a green day on the green trend, trade or simulate trades. If SPX has a red day on a green trend, study. Reverse for red trend. This is how I mix trade days with study days.

Thank you all! Very much! If things don't work out well I will revert back to paper trading!
I plan to start with $27K.
Congrats on making that big step. Best of luck to you!!
I was using ETrade Pro, but I cancelled it, because they charge you $99 a month for the platform and it was eating up my account. But if you make more than 30 trades a month it's free and Etrade Pro has the chart out there in my opinion. I started using TOS and it's free. The commission are the same as Etrade.

Well, sure, that would be nice to just use StockToTrade... but for beginners with puney accounts, it's pricey. So, thank you for sharing these resources!
Thanks for some info dude!
Start small bet small and grow and learn from there. The market isn't going anywhere.
In the beginning, it is better to practice mechanics on free platforms. Interactive Brokers free trial is pretty good. Open an account but do not use real money. Get realtime charts.

@MichaelGoode Saw you at Trader Summit. I was wondering if you could look at my trade plan and some of my trading data. Can email to you info. Would like to meet you in January. Would drive to Michigan from Wisconsin. 2 or 3 hours of your time. Willing to pay for the critique.
Sorry but I don't do meetups or detailed trade critiques. I will do occasional trade critiques for Tim's Challenge students.
Thanks for the reply.

@peterbouzek just became a fully transparent trader today!

Do 50 simulated trades and track your results. Then with real money, keep it small. Try to stay unemotional.
Going to print these out and read them before trading every day. Thanks!
These are amazing :-) Gotta love this girl :-)
