The kills of last week are my two trades in $MGT when it was around .85 -- scared off the speculation, I sold quickly trying to keep losses in order, only to see it spike in the afternoon into the mid 1s and now its up to 4.5s. I could have banked for sure. Definitely would not have kept up into the 4s as it consolidated for a couple days before spiking big again last couple days. I am glad, however, that I am learning to get out quickly. Especially with speculative plays, its good to get out. Don't want to be stuck in a crash. My account has shrunk and I have no time for losses, only gains from here on out. Glad on the win with $GSAT. Looking forward to the day when I can have money in two accounts and then to 20,000 where I see no PDT. Keep looking for good trades in the meantime and build back my account which was down 750.

My entries are getting better, definitely keep an eye on the at previous days high and wait for the breakout. Also find better catalysts- i.e. EWs and Contract winners. My exits are horrible though. I'm not cutting losses. I'm not getting out when it passes my mental stop loss. I get caught like a deer in the headlights in some sort of disbelief. Let's go now. I am so concerned about losing day trades yadayada. I even have profits and then wait until it crashes just watching and hoping for some sort of recovery. Now is not the time for hope. I have to be more disciplined.

My entries are the problem. I've been attempting to buy into spikes instead on the breakouts or the dips. Re-watch some @timothysykes vids and get my technicals in line. Also problems in my exits. I tend to hold onto stocks too long. I get profits but hold, wanting more, not wanting to loose a day trade on little profits. But then I end up LOSING money. Get out Joe and play for more profits another day, not losses and some profits and even more losses. Small profits are better than no profits and actually losing money.

It't been a ride, still even in my account. Need to play better trade and be more disciplined in cutting losses. My emotions get the best, hopping for a bounce and I end up losing more.

I've had big wins and losses attempting to trade overnight. I need to be careful with stairstepper patterns, as they're unpredictable, instead spiking, it could go down big in off hours trading. My problem is that if it goes down off hours, I need to get out QUICK, its not going to bounce the way I want. Also if the stock is dropping going into the close the more potential it has to drop even more off-hours and the next morning. Make sure the stock has catalysts, especially earnings and contracts, don't buy into big drops into the close and get out quick if it doesn't do what I expect.

Lost money on ORPN Shouldn't have went in over night and I knew that. Hit my low after I got in the trade, and I did not remove myself. Kept dropping, hoped for a bounce. Negative news overnight gapped it down hard. Got out in the morning after losing $270. I needed to get out when it hit my risk number before the closing bell.

VCEL winner Friday 200 shares in 4.04 out 4.86 for $145 on positive news. Previous morning spiker. Premarket and morning spiker today. Didn't catch the very top but caught a bunch.
