Realizing losses before end of tax year on a bad decision from a few days ago. I should have gotten out of this stock a long time ago but held on for potential recovery.

Quick bet on short, realized I was wrong. Got out. If I had stayed I would have done very well as stock tumbled for 2 days. No crystal ball. Better to minimize losses.

Trade went south fast and I lost a lot. Could have had a $700 gain if I'd have sold when I should have. Held on to a loss. Big lesson learned. Realized the loss for the tax year end to offset some big gains. I don't think this one will recover very quickly.
